Trevor McDonald is the owner of Body Quest Health and Wellness Centre, as well as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Trevor graduated in 1997 Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Trevor has spent 19 years practicing massage therapy in Newfoundland, and in April 2007, he opened his own massage therapy clinic. He is proud of how his clinic has grown tremendously over the past 9 years, and believes by welcoming various health professionals; the clinic is able to provide every client with the most comprehensive health approach possible.

Along with an expanding business, comes an increased “business” demand. Currently, Trevor is working part-time as a massage therapist and spends the rest of his time focusing on his business role and being active in community fundraising and sporting events. Trevor prides himself on creating a positive and inviting environment for both his clients and staff.

Dr. Sam Rouse

Originally a product of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Dr. Rouse moved to Newfoundland in 1993; before leaving the Military in 2001 as a Naval weapons technician. Sam was also an LPN in Nova Scotia prior to relocating to Newfoundland.

Went to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College of Toronto Ontario in 2004-2008; Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Doctor of Chiropractic. Sam also attended Memorial University for Kinesiology and Graduated with Honors in 2002-2004.

He has been with Body Quest since 2009 and from there has grown quite a large amount of patients over the years and is very highly recommended. Sam is known for building a personal relationship with his clients with his overall out-going friendly personality.

Julie Johnson

Julie Johnson graduated from Dalhousie University in 1983 and completed French Immersion at University of Montreal in 1987. She has completed three acupuncture courses, and manual therapy courses in the following:

  • Cervical Spine
  • Thoracic Spine
  • Lumbar Spine
  • Pelvis
  • Upper and Lower Extremities

Julie enjoys combining treatment techniques including manual therapy, myofascial release, kinesio taping, Mulligan technique, Lumbar Spine Mackenzie technique, and client exercise programs.

Julie’s interests include maintaining an active lifestyle by swimming laps, hiking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, yoga, sailing, and gardening. She also loves to travel and learn languages.

Kelly Foster

Kelly Foster is originally from Whitby, Ontario. She graduated from Academy Canada in 2012 and joined the Body Quest team in early 2015. She also became certified in cupping in 2015. Cupping allows for a unique approach to affect deeper tissue, by breaking up and removing fascial restrictions.

Kelly is very passionate about massage therapy and enjoys all aspects, especially motor vehicle injuries. She loves the challenge they can bring.

Kelly was a competitive swimmer for many years so she can relate well to sport injury, and really enjoys working with sports related injuries.

Christine Bromley, RMT

Everyone can benefit from massage!!! Christine has been practicing massage therapy for 9 years in different settings; Private practice, within a physiotherapy clinic, within a chiropractic clinic, a spa and a multidisciplinary clinic.

She also enjoyed being a contributing part of the NL MTA as a director for several years. Christine integrates Soft Tissue Release, Cranio sacral therapy, muscle energy- Myofascial release, Aury vedic training, and cupping into her treatments. All of which she have received certification for.

She is truly passionate about the human body and is open to discovering all ways of healing. Christine has had the pleasure of volunteering as a massage therapist in the world’s weights lifting championship in 2008 and for many wonderful causes and associations through Body Quest.
