Nicole has a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University and completed her Masters of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie in 2011. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and is registered with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists. Nicole has completed her Manual Therapy levels 1-3 and has additional training in acupuncture.
Nicole values an active approach to treatment, with a focus on educating the client to gain self management techniques and understand their condition. She pairs this with manual therapy and modalities for a well rounded approach to treatment.
As a special interest Nicole has developed Seniors programs and educated retirement groups in the community. She enjoys her work in the clinic as well as Home Physiotherapy visits for those with mobility issues.
Nicole has been involved in gymnastics and cheerleading as an athlete, coach and judge. She has a passion for helping others and is still involved in coaching with Special Olympics Mount Pearl’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Program.
In her spare time Nicole can be found hiking the trails with her energetic dog, or spending time relaxing with her family.
